What are the major advantages and disadvantages of using compressed air versus CO2 in paintball games?

We have an air compressor at home, and I'm going to buy a paintball gun Tippmann 98 custom. The problem is if I buy a tank of CO2, or a refillable compressed air tank that can fill more cheap. I know that the compressed air does not work as well as CO2, but is sufficiently disadvantaged with compressed air that I use CO2? Also ... I am 13 years old and in the state where you live you must be 18 years of age to have a tank filled, so my dad has to buy (to pay). That is another reason why you want to use compressed air. But if too much of a disadvantage, I will spend the extra CO2

With compressed air does not get a variation in the speed of the ball, fps, as it does with C02. If you shoot quickly, you can see the snow coming out of the barrel, when this happens, the tank is very cold, and the pressure drop, causing the speed to drop. With a compressed air has created this problem as much. Just make sure you are careful when filling tanks, if more than fill them will explode. Good luck.
