Inline Regulator
positive territory? in a tractor?
Hello, I have an old tractor Minnanapolis Moline. It has a generator and regulator, no alternator. Sample discharge into the amp gauge? I have the regulator and the generator rebuilt now and still shows disharge and drains the battery. The manual says that the tractor should have a positive reason. So that is how I connected. All cables everywhere they look really good and I feel perplexed. I was thinking of changing the battery cables as bad as leads to land just to see what happens, but I wonder if this could damage the new generator or regulator. There does seem to be any type of line module or a fuse or something. Do you have any idea what could be causing this. I have also tried two different batteries. ??????????
shouldn't have had to rewire just about anything to replace the generator and regulator dhave shoulders cables hook back just the way it came out so go and see how a Dyou cable could find on his tractor Minnanapolis Fourm forums Moline Moline tractor tractor forums forums Minnanapolis sorry man id say either you have bad wiring generator or regulator to start with nothing more than just check for a generator fire but Fourm might be a way that either a tractor repair shop and ask
