What if I cut the red wire to the black wire?
In the control panel, there are three wires are red, black and already know white.I black red or white can not touch. But if red touches black what happened? Thanks
The first two answers are good, but left out what would happen - Is likely to be a big spark and probably trigger the switch (If you are on .. I hope that low when it tangled with the wires!) Red and black can reach high temperatures, but I guess its phase is 180 degrees as well, which means they are of opposite polarity.
