Master Kit
Whats a good freshwater master kit from APH?
If you have any links or pictures of witch one is the best u can put them up.. Also wut are the most important things to check for in the water ? ( like ammonia etc...)
wuts the high range PH?
Well it depends on the fish. But most can live in a wide range. the high is 8.6 probably. While in freshwater you want it in 7's, in saltwater you want it in 8's.
I'd say for freshwater, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and pH tests are sufficient. Saltwater (with just fish would be those 4, but alkalinity as well.) And also a hydrometer. You test the water's specific gravity and the salinity.
For a saltwater with corals and anemones, you need calcium and phosophate (something like that). But I recommend you don't buy coral; it's for a mature aquarium hobbiest.
Go to petco.com and search for master test kits. there will be plenty. Good luck! -ahauntingnearu
