Any useful advice on how to make my rough knee pads slide smoother?

I have volleyball tryouts in an hour, I dont have time and money to go to the store and buy one, I have a pair of knee pads but they dont slide very smoothly, any way I can make these kneepads slide more and smoothly even by a little bit?

Knee pads aren't designed to be slid on, they are there to protect your knee.

Don;t worry about buying new gear unless you make the team.
