What else can i feed my four inch yellow belly sliders?
i feed my turtles everyday and its usually just shrimp and pellets,. but i was wondering what else can i feed them besides those items? what kinds of fruits and vegatables please give me a variety./
I'm surprised that you got your sliders to maturity (almost, anyway) with that diet. Good foods for them are earthworms, fishes, and liver dusted with bone meal. You can also start introducing them to dark green leafy vegetable but they still need lots of calcium and protein from the animal-based food. Shrimp should be a treat and pellets no more than 10% of the diet.
