A Boat is loaded with a cargo of corn, a "flour, soy flour and milk powder mixture" in various wall paper bags with plastic linings sealed. Each bag contains 80 pounds of product and is handled and stacked in the ship by hand. The shipment of 500 tonnes is delivered to Bombay, India, as part of Food for Peace of the U.S. government. When the ship arrives in Bombay and opens to the download, it appears that many of the bags have spots or patches of mold growing on the outside. The product Inside the bag seems to be free from mold and completely healthy. A. Why the growth of mold on the outside of the bags and not inside? b.Besides the paper bag, what was the food source for mold? c.What can do to prevent mold and mildew growth in future posts? any suggestions ..?
