Here's The Paintball Supply List Every New Players That Want's To Win Needs

The rapidly growing sport of paintball like all other sports requires supplies in order to participate in game play. The paintball supply list that is needed for play basically falls into two categories - reusable and disposable. Having the right types of both can make or break a round of play.

The first category is an absolute must for playing paintball. Reusable supplies are the nuts and bolts of the game. In this category, of course, would be your paintball marker or gun. This is the number one paintball supply. There are many different styles and types of paintball markers to choose from, depending on budgetary constraints and the type of game play scenario desired. A fairly inexpensive Spider, for example, doesn’t cost a fortune, but it is solid for all types of game scenarios. A more costly Ego is ideal for speedball.

Beyond the marker, a beginning player will need to have a high pressure air or Co2 tank to power the paintball marker. Both types of tanks come in a variety of shapes and sizes. The type of tank to purchase will depend on the paintball gun in question. Some markers might only function using Co2.

The next on the list of must-have paintball supply items are pieces of safety equipment. A paintball mask, for example, is probably the most important piece of equipment needed to play the game (beyond the gun). When looking at these, comfort and protection should be the two biggest determining factors for picking out a mask.

Other safety considerations include such things as optional protective padding. These paintball supply items aren’t required in every game, but they can make play more enjoyable. The types of padding include chest guards, leg guards, gloves and knee pads. These are all generally single-time purchases on a paintball supply list.

The other type of paintball supply items falls into the disposable class, or items that have a one-time use and must be replaced. The number one thing on this disposable list is, of course, paintballs themselves.

Choosing the right paintballs is like picking out all other paintball supplies. It will be necessary to try them out and see what fits personal style and game play the best. Paintballs are generally sold by the case. There are 2,000 paintballs to a case of paint and they range in price from about $35 to $85 a case, depending name brand and quality.

First-time players generally are just fine starting out with more affordable paintballs. If the game is liked and regular play is anticipated, better balls might be added to the paintball supplies list the next time out.

Other paintball supplies that might be needed on the field include such things as clean rags to tidy up the gun between games, plenty of water and even a few snacks. While some fields have refreshments available for purchase, this isn’t always the case. Make no mistake, it can get very hot playing paintball.

When a paintball supply list for a beginner is created, most will find there are two major categories of buys that are necessary. How much or how little these will cost will depend on the type of gear desired, but certain items are must-haves. Things like the gun itself, paint and safety gear are absolutely required. A few other purchases can be made down the road on an as-needed basis.

Find The Right Paintball Place To Suit Your Paintball Game Play

Paintball is becoming a hugely popular hobby. Paintball places, both indoor and outdoor, are springing up all over the place. At first, your style of play may well be dictated by the places which are in your local area, but as you become accomplished in, and probably addicted to,paintball; you may want to develop your play and check out other paintball areas.

The layout of the paintball place will have a major impact upon the style and pace of the paintball play, so here are some of the most common types of paintball fields which you might want to check out and see if they suit how you would like to play.

Woods, trees and ground cover can be used to your advantage in this kind of paintball place. In this kind of paintball, which you can easily set up for yourself using a natural location, enemies are usually picked off one at a time.

Speed ball, as you might imagine from the name, this kind of paintball is set out for fast-paced action. Cover is limited to usually inflatable bunkers and you get to run around and fire your gun a lot as enemies emerge from all over the place. This type of paintball place is the most popular with beginners as it relies more on speed than skill, but more advanced players can also get a out of a speed ball paintball.

Scenario games, these add more of a role-playing element to the game. These types of games can be played in all types of places and it only takes agreement from the teams as to what type of scenario is being played out. You could be in a city, a war zone or be military trainees, for example. So long as you all agree, the sky really is the limit for this kind of game and it can be played in all manner of ways. Some paintball places are designed with a particular scenario in mind, so look around for one that you like.

The only thing really limiting your opportunities is your imagination, and safety. It needs to be remote enough that innocent civilians do not get involved nor have their possessions wrecked with your paint. That tends to upset them a whole lot! With just a little cover added to the mix, you’ve found a great area.

If you want to set up your own paintball place, check out any local laws and regulations which may restrict that. However, most areas will have a choice of commercial areas already set up that they can choose from. Use the internet and check out paintball places.

Basic Paintball Gear Needed

The biggest concern while playing paintball is the safety and security of the players. Wearing the proper paintball gear will help to ensure that nobody will become injured while playing this fast-paced sport. Without a doubt, the use of air-pressured guns can be very dangerous if a person is not wearing appropriate safety gear.

There is a variety of paintball gear required when playing this sport, not just the paintball gun or marker. To help ensure you have all the proper equipment for this action-packed sport, below is a list of gears each person must have before he or she plays the sport.

1. The paintball mask is an essential piece of equipment that will protect your face. Since most serious injuries incurred are in the face, you are not allowed to play if you do not wear a protective mask.

2. Eye protection is another important piece of protection. Investing in a good set of goggles will prevent any splat of paint for getting into your eyes.

3. Each person must have a paintball gun. The gun is used to eliminate your opponent, and thus is a critical piece in your arsenal. Remember to thoroughly research the different types of guns available before making your selection.

4. Of course, you must also have paintballs to shoot at your opponents. You should try to conserve your paintballs while playing and only shoot when you have the target in site.

5. The hopper is another piece of paintball gear you can’t do without. The hopper is where your paintballs are placed. Standard hoppers will load your gun at a rate of 12bps or less. For faster guns, you will want an electronic hopper.

6. The barrel is used to guide the paintball towards the intended target. Brass barrels are relatively inexpensive and allow you to shoot in a straight path and at higher speeds because there is reduced friction.

7. Having air supply is essential and is used in both guns and pistols. Nitrogen and carbon dioxide are available. The carbon dioxide is less expensive, but nitrogen is better.

There are other optional accessories such as belt packs, scopes and kits that can give you an even greater advantage over your opponent. Some accessories are also needed to keep your paintball in good working condition. These include oil for lubing your gun, a squeegee for cleaning the barrel, and extra rings and seals.

The paintball gear that we listed above can be used as a basic checklist for beginners as you research the sport and before you begin making any purchases. Playing paintball is great fun, but the costs can run up quickly.

If you do not have the extra money, start with the basic gear first, then purchase additional options as time goes on. Keep in mind you must be fully protected when playing paintball, so proper clothing and safety gear should be a top priority.

The Advantages Of Playing Paintball Outdoors

Paintball is a growing sport that can be played both indoors and outdoors with everyone having their own preference as to which is better. The scenario games are much more fun and really need to be played outside. With the popularity of paintball there are outdoor paintball fields popping up all over and there is sure to be one somewhere near you. The thing that is cool about the larger fields is that there are all kinds of hiding places to use and explore.

Most of the outdoor paintball fields are located in wooded areas or in large open fields that have been modified with buildings, castles, bunkers, junk cars, etc. These are really cool because they help to recreate an urban warfare experience, kind of good training and practice for military guys too.

The type of paintball games played in wooded areas is sometimes called

What Really Is A Paintball Marker?

One of the terms you may run into early on while getting involved in the adrenaline pumping sport of paintball is “paintball marker.” So what is a paintball marker? To put it really simply, it’s the paintball guns. Many players refer to them as “markers” because the paint balls the guns shoots “marks” the target. A paintball marker might also be called a paintball gun or just a paint gun. After the safety mask, which is always the most important piece of equipment, the paintball marker is the next most important since there can not be a game without it.

The first paintball game was played in 1981 in Henniker, New Hampshire. Nine players took part, and the sport of paintball was born. The earliest models of paintball markers were uniform (after all, this was just the beginning of the sport). Now there are literally hundreds of choices between various makes and models of paintball markers. Some are very cheap, some are extremely expensive. No one could have imagined the huge variety in choices.

One of the first decisions you’ll want to make when using paintball markers is to decide what type of action you want from your paintball marker. By action, this refers to the way that an individual paintball marker fires. There are three types of actions that cover most of the cheaper and basic lines of paintball markers: pump action, semi-automatic blow back, and hybrid blow back. Each type of action makes a paintball gun work very differently, so think about how quickly you want your marker to shoot and how much work you want to do to make it fire. Obviously the pump action is the slowest, while the other methods offer better rates of fire.

The other factor to think about with paintball markers is performance. Performance is one word that covers many several factors including good rate of fire, accuracy, range, durability, and reliability. Some cheap paintball guns will perform like clockwork one day, but then not at all the next. This is why early homework is important: to learn first hand the reputation one model of paint marker has compared to another.

Buying the right paintball marker can be difficult. Do your homework ahead of time, and don’t rely on price alone. There are higher priced paintball markers that are extremely unpopular with players because of obvious deficiencies. A $500 paintball marker is not always guaranteed to be bigger and better than a cheaper $200 one.

Appearance is also a factor. Just because a gun “looks cool” means that it is a good buy. Do your research on paintball markers and buy the one that works for you and you’ll be much happier than you would have been otherwise.

What Exactly is Paintball?

A paintball is basically a capsule of dye made from vegetable oil that comes in different colors and and a few variations. It is used in military style combat games that consist of teams playing against each other. The players of each team have to eliminate the opposing team players by shooting paintballs at them. When a paintball hits a player he is then eliminated frome the game. Variations of the games are noted below.

Paintballs are mainly gelatin capsules that contain colored liquid. This paint or colored liquid is safe and is non-toxic, water soluble and biodegradable. They weigh just a few grams and measure only 1.7 cm in diameter. When hit with one there is no pain involved but they burst open and leave a small splatter of paint on the person where it actually hits. Players use specially made paintball guns to shoot the paintballs at each other in order to score. The use of paintballs provides the players with real time atmosphere and situations as though fighting in real combat.

History of Paintball

Paintball can be traced back to the early 1970s. During this period paintball guns were mainly used as a tool for marking livestock and tress. Then in 1981 a group of friends introduced paintball as a recreational game. At that time they used industrial paintball guns. These friends played this game for the first time on a field of over 100 acres. The game paintball was originally named as The National Survival Game.

Evolution of Paintball Games

The game began as a simple one with the object of the game to hit each other and win. Since then playing paintball games has become popular all over the world. It has become a globally recognized recreational activity. As it evolved it has become much more sophisticated. Today people from around the world form their teams and have set up international tournaments and leagues. There are constant innovations occurring in the development of new games of paintball.

With a growing number of paintball fans the industry is booming. Commercial paintball fields are even being developed. In 1982 the first commercial outdoor paintball field was designed. Since then the development of new fields have kept paintball enthusiasts coming back for more fun and play. Prizes are set up by organizations for the winning teams.

The one thing which sets this game apart from other games is the type of equipment used to play. Players keep updating their paintball guns as newer technology advances.

Paintball Games

Since paintball has become a game, people have developed new styles of game combating. There are a few famous paintball games that are played continually and enjoyed by paintball fans all over the world.

Capture the flag

This is a classic paintball game. This game includes two opposing teams where each team must acquire the opponents flag and hang their flag on a designated location. During the game process the players of the each team must protect their own flag.

When this game is played in tournaments it requires a lot of skill and intelligence. If a team eliminates all the players of the opposing team, with none of their players eliminated and hangs the flag within the allotted time they are said to have maxed the opposition. The term maxed implies that they have scored the maximum possible points that could be achieved in the game which is the ultimate win.

Center flag

This game is similar to capture the flag with one difference. The flag to be captured is hung in the centre of the playing field. The teams fight to capture the flag and hang it on a designated location somewhere on the opponents base.

Elimination

This game requires the elimination of all the members of the opposition. The objective is to hit the players of the opposing team and get them all eliminated. Whichever team eliminates all the players of the opposing team wins the game.
